Mango chutney( sweet and spicy)
Ingredients
- Raw mango 1
- Fennel seeds
- Cumin
- Fenugreek seed
- Onion seeds
- Ajwain
- 1/4 tspn red chilli powder
- 1/4 tspn Salt
- 1/4 tspn Black pepper powder
- 1/2 cup sugar/ jaggery
- 1 tspn oil
Recipe
- Choppe the mango roughly in small pieces.
- Heat 1 teaspoon oil, add fennel , fenugreek , ajwain, cumin and onion seeds , when crackle and chopped mango.
- Cover and let it cook for 5 min.
- Then add red chili powder, salt and black pepper powder.
- Now add sugar or jaggery and some water.
- Let it cook for 10 min or until fully cooked.
- Serve it as a side dish along with parantha,pancake,chila, dosa.. U can Refrigerate it until 2 weeks.
- You may alter the quantity of these spices as per your taste.
