Strawberry jam

Delicious Strawberry Jam



Ingredients:-


  • 2 cup  fresh strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tblspn lemon juice

Recipe:-


  • Wash and cut the strawberries.
  • Mash little bit with the help of potato masher
  • Heat a clean pan
  • Put the strawberries and cook it for 2 to 3 min.
  • Now add lemon juice and sugar
  • Cook it on a  low medium heat until it become thick jam like consistency.
  • It will take around 12 to 15 min.

Storing Strawberry jam:-


  • Take a clean airtight container
  • Boil some water in a large vessel
  • Put the container in that boiling water
  • Let it boil for 5 to 7 min.
  • Take it out
  • Dry it and store the jam in the container.
  • Keep in the refrigerator .

Mushroom do pyaza

It's a great recipe for Mushroom lovers

Ingredients:-



  •  250 grm Mushroom                                                       
  • 1 medium onion ( chopped finely)
  • 1/2 small onion ( sliced)
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1/4th tspn turmeric powder
  • 1/4th tspn cumin seeds
  • 1 tspn garam masala powder
  • 1 tspn coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tblspn oil
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • 1 tblspn fresh cream










Recipe:-


  • Heat oil in a pan                                                                                
  • Add bay leaves and cumin seeds.
  • When splutter add chopped and sliced onion.
  • Fry till they become brown.
  • Add salt, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala powder to
  • Fry for a min.
  • In a blender put tomato,ginger, garlic, green chilli and coarsely ground them.
  • Add this mixture to the fried onion
  • Fry for some time until oil separates .
  •  Now add mushroom( cut into square)
  • Mix it well.
  • Put the lid on.
  • Let it cook for some time
  • Mushroom will release some water
  • Let it cook in its own water
  • Don't add any water.
  • Cool it till the your desired consistency.
  • Now add some cream and cook for a min.
  • Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with your favorite bread.

MINI IDLI


RECIPE OF MINI IDLI








Ingredients:-


For steaming idli:-


  • Semolina I cup
  • Curd 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Eno fruit salt

For tempering:-


  • 1 tblspn oil
  • 1/4 tspn mustard seeds
  • 4-5 curry leaves
  • 2 green chilli slit
  • 1/4 tspn turmeric
  • 1/4 cup onion ( cut lengthwise)

Recipe:-


  • Mix all the ingredients for idli
  • Steam it in idli stand or paniyarappam
  • Pan.
  • When done take it out.
  • It takes about 10 min.

For tempering:-


  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add slit green chilli,mustard seeds, curry leaves
  • When splutter add cut onion.
  • Add turmeric and salt to taste,
  • Fry till light brown
  • Now add steamed idli
  • Fry for 5 more min.
  • Take it out in a wide bowl
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
