Red Pumpkin curry

 Pumpkin curry







This is great side dish with a right balance of sweet and sour.

 Ingredients:- 

  • 2 cup Red pumpkin( cut into cubes)
  • 1/2 cup onion( thinly sliced)
  • 1 tblspn panch phuran( onion seeds,cumin seeds,fennel seeds,ajwain,fenugreek seeds)
  • 1/2 tspn coriander powder
  • 1/4 tspn turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tspn dry mango powder
  • 1/2 tspn sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tspn oil

 Recipe:- 

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add green chilli and panch phuran
  • When seeds crackle add sliced onion
  • Fry for 2-3 min
  • Now add red pumpkin
  • Add all the salt , turmeric and coriander powder
  • Cook for 5 min
  • When it becomes soft add dry mango powder and sugar.
  • Turn off from the heat
  • Serve with chapati or steamed rice.

Black Eyed Bean Curry Recipe


 Black Eyed Bean Curry Recipe





Ingredient:-


  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 tblspn ginger and garlic finely chopped
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 tspn coriander cumin powder
  • 1/4 tspn turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tspn garam masala powder
  • 1 tblspn oil
  • 1 cup black eyed bean ( socked atleast for 4 hr)

Recipe:- 


  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker
  • Add green chilli and cumin
  • Add chopped onion and salt
  • Salt helps onions to cook faster
  • Fry till onions are little brown
  • Add ginger garlic fry for 2 min
  • Now add tomato fry for a min then add all the
  • Dry masala
  • Fry till oil separates
  • Add some water in between if masala starts to get burn
  • When oil separates then add socked black eyed bean
  • Add 2 cups of water
  • Close the lid of the pressure cooker
  • Cook it on medium heat till 4 whistle.
  • Turn of the heat let the steam away.
  • Serve it hot with rice or roti.


This recipe is a  very good source of protein.
