Paneer Tikka Masala

Paneer Tikka Masala









Marinated paneer cooked in onion tomato and yogurt based gravy..



Ingredients:-




For paneer tikka :- 





  • Paneer 400 grm
  • Red and green bell pepper 1-1
  • Onion
  • Tomato





For marination :- 





  • 1 cup thick yogurt
  • 2 tblspn ginger garlic chilli paste
  • 1 tblspn Tandoori masala
  • 1 tspn red chilli powder
  • 1 tspn garam masala
  • 1 tspn chaat masala
  • 1 tspn kasoori methi
  • 1 tblspn lemon juice
  • 1 tblspn oil






Method for marination :-




Cut paneer, onion, tomato, bell paper into a square shape.




Mix all the ingredients for marination

Mix with cut vege and paneer




Marinate for at least 1/2 hr.



In the meanwhile we will prepare the gravy..



Ingredients for gravy :-



  • 1 onion ( chopped finely)
  • 2 tomato ( pureed)
  • 1 tblspnGinger garlic paste
  • 1-2 tspnRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspn Garam masala
  • 1/4 tspn Turmeric powder
  • Whole garam masala (1 cinnamon stick, 3-4 whole cardamom,4-5 cloves )
  • 2 tblspn Heavy cream
  • 1 tspn corn flour ( dissolved in water)
  • Leftover yogurt marination
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste




Preparation for paneer tikka masala





Heat oil in a pan





Sauté the marinated paneer and vegetables



Take it out in a plate

  • Now add whole garam masala and cumin to hot oil
  • Add finely chopped onion
  • Fry until it becomes brown
  • Add puréed tomato paste and ginger garlic paste and all the dry masala
  • Add salt too.
  • Cook till all the water evaporated
  • And oil separates from sides.
  • Now add leftover marination( in which u marinated the paneer and veges)
  • Fry till oil separates
  • Add dissolved corn flour .
  • Mix it well
  • Add thik cream mix it well
  • Now add sautéed paneer and veges .
  • Mix it well
  • If its too thik add little bit water.
  • Cook it for 10 min. On low heat.
  • Take it out in serving bowl.
Serve hot with parantha, naan or tandoori roti.

Achari Bhindi(Okra)


Achari bhindi






Bhindi cut diagonally


Ingredient:-


  • Panch phuran
  • Whole red chillies
  • Ground musturd and fennel powder
  • Turmeric
  • Garam masala
  • Onion cut sliced 1
  • Tomato sliced  1
  • Oil

Recipe:- 


  • Wash bhindi before cutting
  • Heat 1 tblspn oil in a pan
  • Sauté bhindi till almost done
  • Take it out
  • Now add 1 tblspn oil in the pan
  • When heated add panch phuran
  • And whole red chilli
  • When splutter add sliced onion
  • Fry till it gets lite brown color
  • Add sliced tomato
  • Add salt, turmeric,garam masala and ground mustard and fennel powder
  • Fry a little
  • Add sautéed bhindi
  • Mix it well
  • Cook it for 5 more min

  1. Take it out in a serving dish
  2. Serve it with hot roti.
